Sein Lee
President
Pathways MD-Hinton Society
she/her/hers
My name is Sein (she/her) and I’m honored to be on Student Council! I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but I’ve called Pittsburgh, PA home for most of my life. After studying Biomedical Engineering and Molecular Biology at Yale, I spent my gap year working as a policy intern at the NIH and as a clinical research coordinator at Penn Medicine. I’m interested in realigning healthcare payment models and social policies in the U.S. to better support patients in their health journeys.
As part of Student Council, I’m excited to pursue a variety of goals: create tools that streamline daily life, act as a strong-standing bulwark for student-first policies, and help advocate for the communities and causes that HMS and HSDM students are passionate about.
Outside of school, you can find me lifting, crocheting plushies, doing street photography, or listening to news/politics podcasts and movie analysis videos.

I’m on StuCo to work towards and support that thriving, inclusive, community for all, and would love to chat with anyone about our collective ideas or work! We can discuss in the mountains, over a meal, or between typing away in TMEC.

Hi everyone! I’m Natalie, and I’m thrilled to be involved in Student Programming. To share a little bit about me, I’m from Madison, New Jersey, and went to Haverford College, where I studied biology, psychology, and health studies. Outside of class, I love to cook, bake, or do anything that lets me create and keep my hands moving. I love to run, though I’m a slow runner, and enjoy keeping a pace where I can smile the entire time.
In the medical space, I have been most recently involved in basic science research and patient advocacy work related to maternal-child health. I hope to continue this throughout and following medical school.
I pursued Student Council largely because I was inspired by many of our classmates who have actively led us through several transitions thus far, and I hope to do the same in some way. I also knew this role would be a gratifying way to get to know more of you, listen to different interests and perspectives, and expand the ways in which we connect. I’m so excited for what this year will bring, and please never hesitate to reach out.
